Support The Enlisted Project (STEP) builds financial self-sufficiency among military families, through counseling, education and grants.
Their facility in Scripps Ranch houses donation and supply storage, staff offices, and is a place for active duty members to meet with counselors. It also hosts monthly "shopping days" where military families in need can shop for donated household items and clothes.
